Hyalo is an open-source CLI that lets AI coding agents like Claude Code work with markdown vaults properly - not through fragile grep and regex hacks, but with structured commands for querying frontmatter, filtering by tags/properties/tasks bulk-editing metadata, and safely moving files with automatic link rewriting. JSON and text output with built-in jq support. Dry-run mode so the agent can preview changes before committing. Built in Rust - handles 10,000+ file vaults in under a second.
